The original tale was an intriguing story that ran the gamut of Wizards of the Coast mythology – weaving evolving characters with role-player staples and wonderful environments. The story was so well done that sequels were inevitable and there were, in fact, two – Hordes of the Underdark and Shadows of Undrentide.

BioWare was the developer of the first three titles, but when it came to the true sequel – Neverwinter Nights 2 – the reins were handed over to Obsidian. Still this was a title that was in very good hands. Obsidian boasts a number of former Black Isle Studios employees, the developers of other Wizards of the Coast classic PC games like Icewind Dale.

Some of the cool games now in market are WarHammer(that’s the game asked 1GB memory), FEAR, Battle for middle earth II-Rise of the witch king(look out, it requires Battle of middle earth I to be installed as a requirement), NFS-Carbon(not bad), X-Men. All these games are graphically superb, which means don’t buy them unless you have atleast 128 mb momory.

But untill now, the best graphical game I’ve played is FARCRY. It’s a game about a man abandoned in a small island which has been the experiment ground of a nasty scientist. The game is bloody brilliant. Story, Graphics, Physic Engine, sound library everything are superb. The above snapshots are examples.

Gears of War's done well, getting itself nominated for best action adventure game, best game, best gameplay, technical achievement and use of audio. Well done.

Crackdown's picked up a load of nominations too, with Viva Pinata singled out for praise in the artistic achievement and original score categories. Bioshock's up for best game alongside Gears and Kane & Lynch, with Colin McRae DIRT and Virtua Tennis 3 hoping to fend off the inevitable assault from Wii Tennis in the sports category.

Funnily enough, most of the PS3 games up for nomination aren't on sale yet, with such unknown quantities as Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune saving Sony from an embarrassing snub. How kind of BAFTA.
